Give me your love for humanity....
2 Corinthians 8:7-9 (NIV)
"But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich."
Here is a video from one of our visits withRaeleigh.
It is the love for others and the willingness to go share God's word that we will see His love for humanity and we will be blessed and honored for doing His works here on Earth.
We have been blessed with the love that the doctors are showing to Raeliegh. They are warm hearted, compassionate, and completely understanding of all that we are going thru.
We are blessed to have one of her nightly nurses who works with her Monday thru Friday, pray with Raeliegh, when she is put to bed. You see the times that they have for visiting hours are 6 pm - 8 pm. Normally, at home we would be putting the younger kids down to bed at 8 pm.
But since we are working with their schedule, here are KUMedCenter, we have visitation from 6 pm - 8 pm.; then Raeliegh has group therapy at 8 pm, then bedtime is at 8:30 pm. So when we get ready to leave the hospital, we hug and kiss her good night, as well as say our bedtime prayers. I tell you that to tell you this, I have cried because that's our routine every single night that I can ever think back to, that is how we do things.....Anyway, as we were leaving the other evening, Lisa the nurse was in the background as we prayed with Raeliegh and prayed for her staff. Lisa caught us as we were leaving and said I have to tell you this, every night when Raeliegh goes to bed, I have been praying with her. We ask God to bless each one of your family members , her days and nights here, and so on. That night we had a little more peace about leaving her there at the hospital. God has placed the right people in our lives, the right staff with Raeliegh and all of the little details are being taken care of.
"And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19, NLT
Thank you Lord for providing for us. For providing homes for our other children in Parsons. You have placed the right people in our paths to offer their homes, their love and their compassion. We know with confidence that You are here with us, You are there with Jordan, Maison, and Corinna. You are here walking with Raeliegh every day....WE know you are leading us through this time in our lives. Thank you for being our Saviour, our Friend, our Comforter.
